Teaching calmness to reactive dogs
In Person & Virtual Training Services
Petey’s Pack helps to address complex behavioral issues by relationship building through structure, advocacy, and play.
Our range of virtual and in person sessions provide foundational training to break down behavior and teach people how to connect with and support their dogs. In person sessions are hosted various locations around Los Angeles, at city parks, and at our private training studio.
Depending on the needs of you and your dog, we offer both 1 hour sessions, day trains, and board and trains. Easier to address issues can often be resolved through a series of shorter sessions, while more complex behaviors may require day trains or board and trains.
At the end of each session, you will be provided with the necessary tools to continue working with your dog at home.
Please fill out our Initial Intake Form to help us determine a personalized plan for you and your dog.

For dogs who need a more thorough structural overhaul or who are working through severe behavioral issues, a full day session can be helpful for understanding and beginning to break down those behaviors. We will do the first hour all together, then we will continue working with your dog on our own for 4 hours. Time for rest and play will be incorporated, as your dog will likely be very tired from learning. We will then spend the last hour all together again to go over everything we worked on and implement a plan for you to continue working with your dog.
$600 per 6 Hour Session
-
Board and trains can be helpful for dogs who need a lot of help. We recommend board and trains for cases of extreme fear, resource guarding, dog aggression, cat aggression, people aggression, severe leash reactivity, crate and separation anxiety, or dogs with no severe behavioral issues who may struggle to relax or be confident, and will require a lot of guidance and practice initially. Many dogs benefit from learning new habits in a new place, and then reintegrating after practice with skills and confidence to make different choices. Board and trains include a required, weekly, hour-long session where we bring you into everything we are working on so you will be prepared to take over and practice at home.

Adj McColl
Petey
Adj McColl is an LA based dog trainer with a lifelong passion and natural connection to animals. Prior to becoming a professional trainer, Adj has worn many hats, holding leadership and management positions in construction and art communities.
6 years ago, Petey, a blind double merle Aussie rescue came into her life and changed everything. After two years of working with professional trainers to work through Petey’s aggression issues, Adj became personally invested in the field and began a four year study of dog behavior and nutrition. She has since completed a range of specialized training programs with Method K9 (Idaho), Packlife LA (California), Jay Jack (St Louis), Dogs Playing for Life (Florida), and Feed Real Institute where she completed her Professional Canine Nutrition Certification.
Outside of behavioral issues, Adj has ample experience working with dogs with disabilities including blindness, deafness, and limb amputation.
“Learning to move at Petey’s pace—which at times has felt glacially slow—and watching myself grow in the process has been monumental to my development as a trainer. Petey’s continued development and confidence is a constant source of inspiration for me to help other people understand, connect with, and advocate for their dogs.”

When she’s not training, she loves to be underwater or eating good food with friends.
